Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually
Mad Hatter Auto Repair in Council Bluffs, Iowa, renowned for its exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking a skilled and experienced General Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We provide a diverse range of automotive services and are looking for a professional who shares our passion for high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
As a General Automotive Service Technician at Mad Hatter Auto Repair, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and fixing vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and various repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately
Provide detailed and clear explanations of repairs and services to customers as needed
Stay up to date in automotive technology, including continuance of participating in paid training to grow your technical skills
Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of our team
Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
Possession of at least one ASE certification
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
A commitment to quality and integrity in all work performed
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive repair is a plus!
