Director of Facilities ManagementThe Director of Facilities Management role is an integral part of the Real Estate and Facilities team, ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all facilities, including schools, administrative buildings, and other related facilities. The starting salary range for this role is $125,223-$138,403. This is a full-time role with occasional flexibility based at HDQ with an anticipated start date of July 2026.As part of the national KIPP network, we share best practices and innovations while maintaining deep roots in Washington, D.C. Together, we strive toward a future without limits for our students, alumni, and community.The Director of Facilities Management at KIPP DC is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all facilities maintenance activities across KIPP DC's real estate portfolio consisting of 20 schools and nearly 1 million square feet of space with a value of $450 million. The Director of Facilities Management provides leadership to a team of outsourced maintenance staff and the Manager of Facilities, and works closely with school leaders, staff, and external vendors to maintain a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for students and staff.
