Patent Agent and Technical Specialist

Duties Prepare and prosecute patent applications, including drafting and amending claims and specifications. Conduct comprehensive technical analyses and evaluations related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking. Perform prior art searches and assess patentability of inventions. Collaborate with inventors, clients, and legal teams to develop and refine patent strategies and portfolios. Draft and review patent-related documents, including responses to office actions and other correspondence. Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate issues. Monitor and analyze developments in patent laws and industry-specific technical advancements. Provide technical support during patent litigation and other intellectual property disputes. Manage multiple patent prosecution projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics. Proven technical experience with wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking. Strong skills in patent application preparation and prosecution. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Effective organizational and time-management skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Education Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics. Certifications Registration with the USPTO is required. Skills Expertise in patent application preparation and prosecution.
