HR Generalist (10-Hour Day & Night Shifts)

How Will You Make An Impact? Independently carry out policies and programs covering employment interviewing, wage and salary administration, personnel administration, training, and benefits administration. Provide support in functional areas of human resources, including recruitment, personnel records, employee and labor relations, job evaluation, workforce planning, benefits coordination, organizational development, training, AA/EEO compliance, and special projects. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and disseminate them through employee handbooks, communications, and meetings. Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organizational needs. Location This role will be based on‑site at our Florence, KY campus. What Will You Do Employee Relations Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures. Coach/consult with managers and employees on performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, and other personnel issues. Coordinate all employee activities and programs. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Compensation Monitor and approve applicable salary increases, ensuring alignment with guidelines. Conduct preliminary job analysis and create job descriptions for non‑benchmark positions through a job evaluation process. Benefits Communicate and interpret all benefit changes and policies. Educate employees about benefits and coordinate open enrollment periods. Research and resolve employee benefit problems and questions. HRIS Reporting Compile statistical reports for departments. Project Management Participate in team projects addressing strategic initiatives as directed by the HR Manager. Recruitment Recruit, screen, and interview internal and external applicants to fill vacancies. Evaluate applicant work history, education, training, and other qualifications. Source candidates from internal and external channels. Expedite and coordinate internal transfers and refer candidates to hiring managers. Notify applicants of consideration or rejection; interview those selected. Inform candidates of duties, compensation, benefits, work schedule, and career opportunities. Arrange interviews and travel/lodging for selected applicants, covering company expenses as necessary. Interact with external contacts such as employment agencies. Perform reference and background checks. Prepare and extend job offers and authorize necessary paperwork. Design and place employment advertising. Handle relocation requirements for selected candidates. Partner with department managers in conducting needs analysis. Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews as needed. Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies. May perform other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field. Experience Minimum of 1‑3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing. Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions applied to practical situations. Effective presentation and communication with managers, clients, and the public. Problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and conclusion drawing. Computer proficiency, including Windows OS and Jabil software packages. Basic written correspondence skills. Reading comprehension of visual aids and instructions. Simplistic procedural execution with minimal variables. Arithmetic operations in all units of measure. Rate, ratio, percent calculations and graph interpretation.
