Deployment Operations Lead Own the Delivery Engine

Role Overview We are looking to grow our team with a Deployment Operations Lead to act as the operational backbone of our Deployments organization. This role sits at the intersection of Deployments, Commercial, and Product, ensuring every account is staffed correctly, delivered on, and continuously improving. You will own playbooks, staffing models, and feedback loops that transform deployments from one-off engagements into a repeatable, scalable engine. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain playbooks defining how HappyRobot deploys at every stage—from scoping and kickoff to go‑live and expansion. Own the staffing model, matching FDEs and DSs to accounts based on complexity, technical fit, and capacity while constantly rebalance. Track delivery health across the portfolio, surface risks before they become fires, and drive interventions to keep accounts on track. Gather structured feedback from field teams, transform raw signals into concrete improvements, and ensure lessons compound across accounts. Partner closely with Commercial to sharpen scoping, value‑finding, and framing of new deals, ensuring successful delivery from day one. Who You Are An Operator who identifies process problems and fixes them, distinguishing people issues from process issues. A Cross‑Functional Translator capable of aligning engineers, strategists, and salespeople toward a single objective. Disciplined and systems‑oriented, comfortable writing playbooks, building staffing trackers, and establishing retro cadences. Driven by impact, able to dive into scoping calls, spreadsheets, or post‑mortems to improve subsequent accounts. Requirements 3+ years of experience in delivery, operations, or deployment‑heavy roles (e.g., Deployment Operations, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Program Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering). Strong operational aptitude to design and run repeatable processes across distributed teams. Experience working in a multi‑stakeholder environment, interfacing between field/delivery teams and Commercial. Ability to balance strategic work (playbooks, staffing models, commercial partnership) with in‑the‑weeds execution (unblocking accounts, running feedback sessions, fixing scoping docs). Why join us?
