Staff Accountant - Parkway Advisors

We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant.
The position will be a Staff Accountant and will be responsible for preparations & accuracy of the financials for the organization. Passion, character and strong motivation are key characteristics to be a team member of our team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the monthly financials for Parkway LP and Holding Companies.
Calculation of quarterly advisory fees.
Prepare quarterly billing statements.
Assist in preparation of the Budget and Business plans.
Enter payments from clients in QuickBooks, prepare deposit slips, and take them to the bank.
Reconciliation of Bank accounts.
Compile the information that is needed for Parkway’s income tax return.
Prepare Forms 1099-NEC for contract labor and board fees.
Ability to work with and learn from all departments within Parkway. (Investments, Statutory Accounting, Consulting and SEC Compliance).
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
1-5 years of accounting experience if preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with clients or sensitive information.
Ability to be an effective leader; as well as to be a team player
Ability to problem solve, follow through and be self-motivated to complete job responsibilities
Adapt to change and the willingness to incorporate new ideas
Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Strong Excel skills
QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
