About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, National Aviation Market Growth Leader to take on a pivotal role in the Business Development Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of firm-wide growth and client management plans, with a focus on key current and target future aviation clients. This senior leadership position demands a strategic approach to market expansion, including engagement with a diverse range of aviation sectors. The role involves leading a national market growth team, driving business development, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve the company's growth objectives. The Vice President will also be accountable for leading client management efforts, shaping strategic business development plans, and ensuring the team meets annual sales goals. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 15 years of experience in business development and client management, particularly within the AEC or aviation management consulting marketplace. The role requires a proven track record in leading market growth and client development strategies, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, be adept at business development negotiations, and have experience with CRM systems. A strong background in mentoring, coaching, and teaching is essential, as is the ability to travel frequently for client engagements and industry events.
