The position can be remote. This individual can work anywhere in North America.

You will be responsible for guiding and driving a bid team to create a winning and executable solution, in partnership with our sales team. Your engagement spans the sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract signature and project handover. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Leading a Bid Team consisting of individuals performing functions such as Application Engineering, Process Design, Sourcing, Contract Management, and others to ensure all elements of the offer are aligned with our strategic intent
• Lead end-to-end proposal development from RFP planning through final submission.
• Facilitate strategy discussions, kick-off meetings, and regular rhythm calls to guide teams toward a unified, competitive proposal approach.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules and responsibility assignments to ensure complete and timely fulfillment of all requirements
• Conduct thorough compliance reviews of all proposal materials, confirming that required content meet every stated RFP/RFQ requirements 
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by taking on assigned initiatives and consistently tracking proposal performance capturing lessons learned and implementing meaningful enhancements that elevate proposal quality over time
• Structuring system solutions, including collaborating with the sales team and extended bid teams to develop technical and commercial strategy, scope, execution model, construction partner identification/qualification (as required by deal structure) and pricing
• Identification, evaluation, prioritization, and development of risk mitigation and opportunity identification strategies (performance, contractual, execution, etc.)
• Preparing information and presenting during Leadership reviews
• Assisting the Sales team with client interaction and negotiation
• Developing and nurturing relationships with key, cross-functional, internal stakeholders across the Veolia business including Projects, Services and Chemical Monitoring Solutions (CMS)
• Analysing and adjusting strategy based on new data/feedback

Minimum requirements:

With a relevant and demonstrable track record in customer facing roles, influencing and negotiation solutions and structures along with excellent organizational skills, you will also need:

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering field – Chemical or Mechanical preferred
• 8+ years of experience in proposal management or project management, preferably within the water treatment
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi volume proposals 
• Familiarity with design-build, progressive design-build delivery methods
• Experience in identification and mitigation of business risks
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
