A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available in the Meridian, ID area, supporting a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital. This contract role begins ASAP with a duration of 13+ weeks and focuses on providing high-quality pharmaceutical care in a hospital environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Key responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with nurses and physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics. The role utilizes Cerner for IT and medication management systems.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Pharmacy license in Idaho or ability to obtain quickly
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong skills in order verification and clinical consultation
- Experience with pharmacokinetics and supervising pharmacy staff
This position allows you to engage in a collaborative healthcare team within a rehab-focused hospital setting, enhancing patient outcomes through your pharmaceutical expertise.
