Surgical RN

Surgical RN Surgical Schedule: Shifts: 06:3015:00, MondayFriday

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required, 2 years preferred in one field
• Trauma Level I experience: required
• Required case experience: Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology
• BLS certification required
• Familiarity with Epic charting system required
• Preferred: Da Vinci robotic experience, endovascular and ophthalmic cases

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the surgical unit, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of surgical procedures across various specialties including orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urologic.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions during and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes:

• State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
• RTO (return-to-office/time off) must be listed at time of submittal.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine status: Unknown.
