Advanced Personnel Resources is currently recruiting experienced Accounts Receivable Professionals for opportunities with established employers throughout the Triad area.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing customer payments, applying cash accurately, researching account discrepancies, and supporting the full accounts receivable cycle.
Pay: $18-21
Type: Temp to Hire and Direct Hire
Location: Greensboro and High Point
Key Responsibilities
- Apply customer payments received by check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card.
- Match payments to invoices and customer accounts accurately.
- Research unidentified, short-paid, overpaid, or unapplied cash.
- Process invoices, credit memos, account adjustments, and refunds.
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
- Prepare account statements, payment histories, and routine reports.
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous accounts receivable and cash application experience.
- Experience processing multiple forms of customer payment.
- Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting processing deadlines.
