Senior Staff Assistant

The Ford Agency is recruiting a top-notch Staff Assistant to support the SVP and policy team at a national trade association. This is a busy role that requires resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have experience supporting a team virtually and have the confidence to interact regularly with high-level executives. If you have at least three years of administrative support experience and are looking to join an organization dedicated to its employees' professional growth and development, this could be a terrific opportunity for you! Hill experience is helpful, though not required.

Responsibilities Include:
• Manage detailed and busy calendars
• Prepare documents and correspondence
• Build relationships with committee chairs and their staff to coordinate committee meetings and other internal meetings
• Collaborate with the communications team and other departments
• Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and transportation, as needed
• Assist with special projects as requested

Qualifications Include:
• 3+ years of administrative support experience
• Experience working in a virtual or remote environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
• $65,000 - $78,000


Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
