General Description Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of all commercial technicians; assist in selling goods and services to customers; dispatch and coordinate service for customers at customer facilities or for road service. Duties Include Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel. Monitor work levels and review performance. Recommend personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, discharges, and discipline. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges, and returns, and security practices. Meet with vendors and suppliers regarding commercial service products. Oversee completion of work, using equipment such as hand tools or gauges to verify compliance with standards. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or safety violations. Investigate accidents/injuries and prepare reports of findings. Maintain hazmat book per OSHA. Perform other duties as assigned. Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
