Occupational Therapist

Overview Learning Together Educational Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The OT will provide support to children aged infant to 3 years old in their home/natural setting. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of sensory, motor, and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will have feeding experience. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify sensory, fine motor, and functional skill deficits. Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on assessment findings and family input. Provide hands-on, play-based therapy sessions that address each child’s unique developmental and sensory-processing needs. Incorporate fun, child-centered approaches to boost engagement and enhance progress. Feeding Therapy: If experienced or interested, support children with feeding challenges by addressing sensory and oral-motor skills. Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and strategies to reinforce skills at home. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech, physical therapy) for comprehensive care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as clinic policies and ethical standards. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure. Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotations, internships, or professional roles) is preferred. Feeding therapy experience is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on family-centered care. Ability to adapt and be creative in therapy sessions. Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
