Your Role and Responsibilities

• Cultivate Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply research-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive processes, and daily life skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on techniques that encourage sustained progress at home.
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Track therapeutic outcomes and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to keep patients on their path to recovery.

Required Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education and additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and fully supported.

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
