$45,000 - $70,000 yearly

• Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
• Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items
• Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
• Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc.
• Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service

• Review borrower income, credit, and assets to determine loan eligibility
• Structure mortgage scenarios and run DU / LP / AUS approvals
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process
• Collect and review documentation to ensure loan readiness
• Communicate with borrowers regarding documentation and next steps
• Prepare files for processing once a borrower goes under contract
• Serve as the primary contact for borrowers during the application, pre-approval, and contract phase
• Work closely with the Loan Officer to ensure successful loan structuring
• Maintain excellent communication with borrowers and referral partners

• Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position
• Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
• College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
• Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred

• 2+ years of mortgage industry experience preferred
• Experience reviewing income, assets, credit, and AUS findings
• Familiarity with DU / LP automated underwriting systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• NMLS license preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
