Human Resources Coordinator

Overview Join our Road Runner Sports team as the Human Resources Coordinator! You will aid with and facilitate the Human Resource processes at all business locations while fostering team member satisfaction and compliance that aligns with our company goals. This role administers Team Member health and welfare plans, and acts as liaison between Team Members and insurance providers. You will be the key point of contact for resolving benefit-related problems and ensuring effective use of plans and positive Team Member relations. What you'll get to do: Ensures all store-initiated separations are processed in ADP Assists with unemployment insurance claims by gathering information for third party insurance administrators as needed Foster a positive customer service environment answering team member requests/questions Assists with administration health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations Ensure that plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations, and that plan provisions are followed Assists with managing leave of absence requests and monitoring leave of absence cases Partners with Payroll with processing of terminations company wide Provide administrative support to the Human Resource function, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry Makes photocopies, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions such as scheduling meetings Prepares ad hoc reports as needed/requested Assists with SB 553 (Workplace Violence Prevention Plan) compliance recordkeeping and tracking Oversees labor poster compliance for support center, fulfillment centers and all retail locations Maintains the Workers Compensation and DNC disciplinary correction notice logs and related e-filing Files documents into appropriate Team Member e-files Assists with Team Member recognition events and anniversary celebrations Assists with the Nectar recognition platforms Team Member feed, challenges, and redemption of points Directly report to our Human Resources Manager Assists with identifying opportunities to optimize HR processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, 2 years related experience or combination of education and experience in human resources; 1-2 years of experience in HR Coordinator role is preferred. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. ADP Workforce Now experience SHRM-CP credential is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as you will be responding to questions from groups of internal managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and high-volume tasked environment.
