Speech Language Pathology Assistant We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team of passionate individuals at the Autism Academy for Education and Development (AAED). The SLPA will provide speech therapy services and support to students in a school setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Compensation & Schedule $42,500 – $59,500 (based on experience) + $2,500 C‑SLPA Bonus Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Salaried (paid evenly over 12 months, 24 paychecks) Paid time off built into role: Fall, Spring, Winter, Summer breaks (≈ 8 weeks) 10+ weeks off + paid year‑round Time Off (Built into Your Role) 1 week Fall Break 1 week Spring Break 2 weeks Winter Break ~8 weeks Summer Break Position Details Location: Tucson, AZ (Campus) Start Date: July 24, 2026 191 workdays/year (includes 6+ paid training days) Full‑time, salaried, W‑2 employee (not 1099) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Benefits 401(k) with Employer Match after 1 year 40 Hours PTO annually Paid training days before the school year begins FREE CEU access through SpeechPathology.com No insurance billing, no Medicaid or DDD requirements No evenings or weekends; consistent, structured schedule Minimal paperwork compared to clinic/DDD settings Collaborative team of SLPs, OTs, and therapy staff Responsibilities Provide speech therapy services under SLP supervision (small groups) Implement IEP goals and track progress Collaborate with teachers and therapy team Complete quarterly progress reports and documentation Maintain therapy schedules and lesson plans Qualifications Active Arizona SLPA License Valid Level 1 IVP AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card Passion for working with students with autism and communication disorders Experience in pediatric, school‑based, or autism settings (preferred) Experience supporting students with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), including AAC devices or communication systems (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer AAED is an equal opportunity employer.
