Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist to achieve patients' specific rehabilitation objectives.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, applying techniques such as manual therapy, mobility training, and rehabilitation exercises tailored to their needs.
• Administer various modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring safe and effective application.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, document changes in condition accurately, and communicate findings to the supervising PT to adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients regarding injury prevention, healthy body mechanics, and home exercise programs to encourage self-management and continued improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Strong foundational knowledge in therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate a patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
