Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists, ensuring that therapies are delivered effectively and tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Conducting therapeutic exercises, gait training sessions, and mobility interventions to help patients regain their physical capabilities.
• Monitoring and meticulously documenting patient progress in clinical records, facilitating seamless communication with supervising therapists regarding any changes or trends regarding patient health.
• Encouraging motivation among patients, promoting safety and independence in their daily activities, and helping them overcome barriers to recovery.
• Collaborating with nursing staff, wellness coordinators, and other caregiving professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Providing education to patients and their caregivers about proper use of assistive devices and promoting home exercise programs to encourage ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include elderly individuals in need of rehabilitation due to surgery, injury, or chronic conditions that impact their functional independence. Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• A current Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
