Overview A leading US law firm is seeking aMid-Level M&A Associate (3rd–5th year)to join its Bay Area corporate team. The role sits within a highly activeM&A and private equity practice, advising on sophisticated transactions for leading sponsors and strategic clients. What You’ll Do Advise clients on public and private mergers and acquisitionsand private equity transactions. Support the full lifecycle of deals from structuring through signing and closing. Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including purchase agreements and ancillary documentation. Conduct and manage legal due diligence processes. Work closely with partners and cross-practice teams on complex transactional matters. Gain significant client exposure on sophisticated Bay Area transactions. About You 3rd–5th year associate with strong M&A and/or private equity transactional experience. Experience handling sophisticated deal documentation and managing workstreams on transactions. Strong academic credentials and training from a leading law firm. Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced transactional environment.
