Buying Coordinator - Los Angeles

Overview We are a mission-based company focused on sustainability with an inclusive culture. This is a full-time role based in our Culver City & Vernon, Los Angeles head offices, requiring in-office presence four days per week with one day remote. The Role Buying Coordinator serving the Buying team across Retail and Wholesale. This is a highly collaborative role where the buying coordinator partners closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, innovative, tech-savvy, and has excellent communication skills. The role is fast-paced and requires flexibility to juggle multiple tasks. There is a clear pathway for future growth into Category Management and broader strategic buying responsibilities as you master our systems and assortments. What You’ll Do Generate correct and timely purchase orders and track them throughout the process across Retail and Wholesale Manage calendar deadlines and ensure cross-functional teams have what they need Assist with updating documentation and keeping data accurate and up to date Work closely with the buying team on assortment planning and management for the Apparel business Communicate cross-functionally with production, merchandising, planning, and wholesale sales teams Help analyze sales on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis Identify process, workflow, and system improvements and bring recommendations to the manager Assist with day-to-day needs and take initiative beyond basic responsibilities What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years of experience in apparel at a retailer/e-commerce company (preferred) Strong analytical and math skills Ability to prioritize Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Ability to adapt to complexities of an expanding organization Strong interpersonal and communication skills You’ll Love This Job If You’re You are a go-getter; you are competitive and have a natural drive to get things done You are smart with strong problem-solving skills You love product and understand the Reformation customer You are scrappy and can do a lot with limited resources Colleagues enjoy working with you and your manager enjoys having you on the team You are collaborative, hardworking, a problem solver, and lead by example You are above average and seek a place that is not average Compensation Base hourly range is $22-25 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity. This role may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion. Total compensation may vary from the listed range reflecting individual circumstances and evolving business needs.
