Job Overview CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Coordinator to support our FEMA Public Assistance Program (CCPRS JV). Job Details Job Title: FEMA - Coordinator Group: WAF Field Mod Fringe Employment Type: Temporary Job Site Location: United States - Nationwide Assignment Category: Fulltime-Temporary Visa Sponsorship Available: No Driver's License Requirements: Valid driver's license required Work Location Options: 100% in field locations Pay Range Minimum: $33.60 Pay Range Maximum: $67.20 Responsibilities Assist with scheduling of deployed FEMA staff, including daily Call‑Down lists, accountability check‑ins, cost‑effective weekends (CEW), rotations, staff rosters, and overtime approvals. Support onboarding in the field: verify safe arrivals, negotiate with hotels and car rental companies during shortages, manage badge documentation, and document CCPRS FEMA‑owned equipment assignments. Review, approve, and process weekly expense reports and invoices, escalating issues to the Task Order PM and creating weekly reports for FEMA Management. Consult with CCPRS subcontractors to resolve expense‑reporting discrepancies and ensure timely processing and return of time and expense documents for invoicing. Consult with CCPRS management to ensure compliance with all processes and policies, notify teams of policy changes, and conduct weekly status meetings to report field activities. Maintain electronic and hard‑copy PA‑TAC files and personnel documentation for CCPRS staff. Act as first point of contact for staff at the job site on administrative matters. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications 5 years of in‑field experience or 2 years of in‑field experience with a bachelor’s degree. High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel required. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Federal Government travel requirements. Experience reviewing expense reports. Skills and Abilities Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to adapt to change quickly and remain flexible. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to complete assignments accurately and on time.
