WE FUEL UPTIME.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic reporting that drives business decision-making across the organization. This role serves as a key finance partner to operational and leadership teams — translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights on performance, costs, and trends. The ideal candidate brings deep analytical skills, a strong grasp of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.What You'll DoPlanning & ForecastingSupport the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes, partnering with department managers to develop accurate and timely financial plansDevelop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, capital investment decisions, pricing analysis, and profitability reviewsReporting & AnalysisPrepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior yearAnalyze business unit and branch-level financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and presenting findings to senior leadershipMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, and working capital metricsAccounting & ComplianceSupport month-end and year-end close processes by partnering with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial results and proper accrualsAssist with annual financial audits and ensure financial reporting is in compliance with GAAP and internal policiesProcess ImprovementDrive improvements to financial reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to increase efficiency and data qualityPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForRequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reportingStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiencesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screeningFosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environmentPreferredMBA or CPAExperience with Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or similar reporting toolsExperience with ERP systems; Microsoft Business Central and/or Epicor Prelude a plusExperience within the distribution, automotive, diesel, or transportation industryWorking ConditionsThis is a desk-based role in a standard office environment.
