Job Description
Title: Nursing - Oncology

Schedule:
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)
- Self-schedule requests allowed.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- License: Valid nursing license
- Certifications: BLS
- Experience: 2 years preferred
- EMR: Experience with EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, IV placements, and administer injections/immunizations.
- Manage patient care for oncology diagnoses, including hematology malignancies and post-transplant patients.
- Monitor and manage oncologic emergencies, including tumor lysis syndrome and cytokine release syndrome.
- Maintain infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation consists of one week of daytime training followed by on-unit orientation.
- Flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions accepted only.
- Candidates must complete necessary fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process.
