Manager, Accounting | Client Advisory Services Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Additional compensation: Annual Bonus Path-to-Partner opportunity for those interested (not required). Qualifications 3-10 years' Accounting experience, including experience with Month End Close activities Experience working for an accounting firm or in a similar client facing advisory role Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and/or construction/contracting industries, preferred CPA nice-to-have but not required Benefits Multiple bonus programs (15-20% of base comp) 40 hours per week Hybrid work schedule plus Summer Fridays - no work every other Friday between Memorial and Labor Day Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations for clients, ensuring accurate handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard financial integrity. Collaborate directly with business owners of successful entrepreneurial ventures, providing financial insights and guidance. Monitor cash flow, develop budgets, and create financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Lead and execute month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, while analyzing variances and trends. Manage bank reporting and ensure compliance with credit agreements on a monthly basis. Facilitate financial audits and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Visit client offices as needed to provide on-site financial support and consultation.
