About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Revenue & Core Convenience to lead its commercial team in all aspects of promotional program sales, margin attainment, retail sales, category management, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining and buying products, setting sales goals, and ensuring the execution of retail marketing and billing efforts. This role requires a strategic mindset, advanced business acumen, and a proven track record in balancing the needs of the business with those of various stakeholders. The VP will also be accountable for generating new business and deepening client relationships, as well as overseeing departmental functions to ensure the company's and departmental best practices are being followed. Candidates for the VP Revenue & Core Convenience position at the company must have a minimum of 12 years' of combined education and professional experience, with a significant background in leadership and technical roles within the retail, hospitality, or F&B industries. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with additional years of experience for those with advanced degrees. The ideal candidate will have a history of creating and maintaining positive work environments, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to optimize work processes. Experience in product sales or airport concessions is preferred, and the role demands a leader who can effectively manage a senior-level team and is adept at anticipating and meeting the needs of the business and its stakeholders.
