\n The Welder supports manufacturing operations by welding and assembling metal enclosures, power modules, and structural components used in gensets, chillers, boilers, and switchgear applications. This role is responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring all weldments meet quality and production requirements.\n

\n Job Duties\n

\n
• Weld metal parts using MIG and TIG welding processes.
\n
• Perform vertical and overhead welds.
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld prints, welding procedures, and specifications.
\n
• Lay out and position workpieces using jigs, fixtures, and clamps before tack welding.
\n
• Verify that completed weldments meet print and measurement requirements.
\n
• Set up welding equipment according to job specifications.
\n

\n Pay\n

• $20-25/hourly experienced base pay 
\n

\n  \n

\n Schedule: 1st & 2nd shift\n

\n
• Monday – Friday
\n
• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
\n
• 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM  
\n

\n Welder Requirements\n

\n
• Education & Experience\n
  \n
  • Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school OR
  \n
  • 6 months to 1 year of related welding experience OR
  \n
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  \n
\n
• 
  \n Skills & Knowledge\n
  \n
  • Ability to read and understand:\n
    \n
    • Safety rules
    \n
    • Operating and maintenance manuals
    \n
    • Simple instructions and correspondence
    \n
    • Blueprints, weld prints, welding procedures, and welding specifications
    \n
  \n
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  \n
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  \n
  • Ability to use:\n
    \n
    • Tape measures
    \n
    • Welding equipment
    \n
    • Weld measuring devices for checking weld sizes
    \n
  \n
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

• 
  \n Physical Requirements\n
  \n
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching.
  \n
  • Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds.
  \n
