Junior Accountant

Responsibilities Perform daily transaction reconciliation and ensure all activity is accurately accounted for. Maintain accurate inventory records, including cost, brand, location balances, and order status adjustments. Process and record banking transactions, including check deposits and payment activity. Prepare and file sales tax returns and maintain accurate tax rate information. Enter and process non-inventory bills, ensuring accurate GL classification and timely payment. Record and reconcile inventory transfer transactions across warehouse locations. Manage rebate and co‑op agreement data entry and follow up with vendors to ensure accuracy. Review exception and discrepancy reports and investigate variances for resolution. Support audit readiness by maintaining organized documentation and providing requested support files. Monitor construction‑in‑progress accounts and post reclassification entries as appropriate. Support ad hoc requests and special projects as directed by management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or an equivalent accounting role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel. Ability to identify areas for improvement. Highly collaborative and self‑motivated team player. Experience in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
