Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets. Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber Power Services seeks an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee and deliver EPC projects in the LV, MV & High Voltage space. (480V to 500kV and above) from initiation through commissioning and will include greenfield projects as well as brownfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high voltage transmission and substation projects, a deep understanding of EPC delivery models, and proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high voltage projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and cost control reports.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to monitor construction quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate and lead regular project meetings and progress reporting (internal and external).
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and utility standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE, OSHA, FERC, NERC, etc.).
• Oversee contract administration, change management, and claims resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years managing high voltage projects.
• PMP certification is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of substation and transmission line design, protection & control, and grid interconnection.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Procore).
• Familiarity with utility and ISO processes (e.g., interconnection, permitting, energization).
• Understanding construction methodologies, safety practices, and QA/QC procedures.
