Medical Director (Hamden)

A reputable nationwide company providing healthcare services to nursing homes is looking to immediately hire a Board-certified Doctor to work as a Medical Director for a nursing home in Hamden, CT. A minimum of 2 years of experience in management and a state license are required. Compensation is very rewarding and covers directorship and Clinical Practice.

Functions of the job:

Directorship.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall care and clinical practice carried out at the facility.
Applies clinical and administrative skills to guide the facility in providing care.
Helps the facility develop and manage both quality and safety initiatives, including risk management.
Provides information that helps others (including facility staff, practitioners, and those in the community) understand and provide care.

Qualifications:

Board-certified preferably in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Management.
Great team leadership skills.

Compensation:

Directorship: Fixed-Monthly
Clinical Practice: Based on the RVU-Biweekly/Monthly
4 weeks PTO
Dental and Vision insurance

Family Medicine
Geriatric Medicine
