This role will assist with investigations, collections, and the organization, and maintenance of discovery databases.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of attorneys, performs a range of investigation and collections related duties necessary to respond to litigation discovery requestsObtains and manages client documents, including electronic data, and identifies potentially relevant materials for each caseAssists with coordinating efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendorsCollaborates and communicates effectively with stakeholders both within and outside the FirmMaintains and organizes evidentiary data and case-related information in accordance with best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation, including assisting with the coordination, and management of document productionsQualificationsBachelor's DegreeBachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate is a plusMinimum 1-2+ years litigation paralegal experienceStrong analytical and communication skills, both oral and writtenExperience with collaboration and work management software is a plusMust demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive informationExperience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, is a plusWilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support our attorneys both professionally and personally. A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
