Lead Certified Medical Assistant - Family Practice

Lead Certified Medical Assistant - Woodridge - Family Practice Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-7:30PM; Saturday rotations 8:00AM-1:30PM. Location: 7530 S Woodward Ave Woodridge, Illinois 60517. Travel: As needed. Responsibilities Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description. Take inventory and perform ordering of supplies. Assist with coordinating staff meetings. Supervise work performed by the department and delegate tasks to staff members. Counsel and coach the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution. Assist with staff development, new employee orientation, and training. Monitor and ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures. May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources. Manage the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program. Certification or registration preferred but not required. CPR Certification required. Minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience, preferably in the medical field. Experience in staff roles with a history of good performance. Leadership skills. Multi-tasking, time management, teamwork. Proficiency in medical terminology. Ability to provide accurate charting/messages. Strong communication skills; listen, provide direction, relay information in a professional manner appropriate to audience; respond to questions within scope of knowledge and open to constructive criticism. Flexible to work full-time and varying hours. Ability to travel to all locations as needed. Ability to work multiple positions within the department such as phones, scheduling, rooming, procedures. Conveys a warm, caring, approachable demeanor; displays unconditional respect toward others; senses others feelings and perspectives. Team player; accepts feedback; follows work rules. Compensation Base pay range of $18.00-26.45 per hour based on certification. Actual pay is determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
