and workforce concerns.\n Maintain confidentiality and ensure employee matters are documented accurately and consistently.\n Recognize significant employee-relations, legal, safety, or compliance concerns and escalate them appropriately.\n Support employees and supervisors across multiple shifts as business needs require.\n\nRecruiting, Onboarding & Workforce Planning\n\n Manage and support needs.\n Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions.\n Coordinate pre-employment requirements, employment documentation, and new-hire onboarding.\n Facilitate and support new-hire orientation.\n Help ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the manufacturing environment.\n Monitor vacancies, turnover, attendance, retention, and staffing trends.\n Support workforce planning as production volume and staffing requirements change.\n Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, community partnerships, and other workforce-development initiatives.\n\nPerformance Management & Supervisor Support\n\n Coach supervisors and managers on employee communication, documentation, performance management, and application of company policies.\n Support performance evaluations, introductory-period reviews, corrective actions, and employee-development discussions.\n Help leadership establish clear expectations and maintain accountability across the workforce.\n Identify recurring employee or supervisory issues and recommend practical solutions.\n Support leadership development and supervisor training initiatives.\n Partner with the HR Director and plant leadership on more complex employee or performance matters.\n\nHR Administration & Compliance\n\n Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, HRIS information, and employment documentation.\n Process and coordinate employee status changes and other HR transactions.\n Support payroll by ensuring employee changes, timekeeping information, and related documentation are communicated accurately.\n Assist employees with benefits questions and support annual Open Enrollment.\n Coordinate leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work activities.\n Maintain required employment and compliance documentation.\n Support HR audits, record retention, reporting, and company compliance initiatives.\n Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal and North Carolina employment requirements.\n Prepare and monitor HR metrics including headcount, vacancies, turnover, attendance, overtime, time-to-fill, and other workforce trends.\n\nSafety, Workers' Compensation & EHS Support\n\n Partner with Operations and the Human Resources & EHS Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives.\n Participate in workplace incident reviews, investigations, and follow-up.\n Assist with corrective-action tracking and documentation.\n Support workers' compensation claims and return-to-work coordination.\n Assist with safety training, employee communication, inspections, and documentation.\n Help maintain required OSHA and safety-related records in coordination with facility leadership.\n Identify potential workplace safety concerns and communicate them to the appropriate operational or EHS leader.\n Reinforce safe workplace practices and help promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility.\n\nTraining & Employee Development\n\n Coordinate and support employee and supervisor training.\n Facilitate HR portions of new-hire orientation and onboarding.\n Support training related to company policies, respectful workplace expectations, attendance, performance management, and employee relations.\n Help supervisors develop stronger communication, coaching, and people-management skills.\n Assist with employee engagement activities, company communications, and workforce-development initiatives.\n Support continuous-improvement projects related to the employee experience and HR operations.\n\nHR Team & Leadership Support\n\n Provide day-to-day guidance, prioritization, and support to the Human Resources & EHS Coordinator.\n Partner closely with the HR Director, plant leadership, supervisors, and corporate Human Resources team.\n Independently handle routine HR matters while recognizing when additional leadership involvement is necessary.\n Balance employee needs with operational requirements and company policies.\n Help ensure Human Resources processes are consistently executed throughout the facility.\n Participate in HR projects and organizational initiatives as the manufacturing operation continues to grow.\nRequirements:\n\n Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience supporting employees within a manufacturing environment required.\n
