BELMONT Search is a construction executive search firm serving heavy civil and highway contractors across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. We are engaged on current and upcoming Project Manager searches with contractors delivering PennDOT, Turnpike and authority work across the Philadelphia region.

THE OPPORTUNITY

These positions carry delivery responsibility for highway and heavy civil projects: public work, executed under a state or authority's specifications, documentation and inspection regime.

THE ROLE

You will run projects from award through final acceptance, and you will be the contractor's principal point of contact with the awarding authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver highway and heavy civil projects from award through final acceptance
• Manage schedule, cost, quantities and the monthly estimate
• Administer subcontracts, change orders and claims documentation
• Maintain the relationship with the authority's inspection and project staff
• Oversee prevailing wage, submittals and the records public work requires
• Direct the superintendents and foremen running your crews

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Five or more years managing highway or heavy civil construction
• Public work delivered under DOT or authority specifications
• Familiarity with ECMS or comparable state bidding and administration systems
• Command of quantities, production and the monthly estimate

COMPENSATION

Base salary of $125,000 to $160,000, plus bonus.
