CPLC is committed to empowering individuals through health & human services, housing, education, and economic development. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE? You will serve as a business partner to assigned programs and leaders, providing employee relations expertise, policy interpretation, culture program execution, and workforce insights that support organizational effectiveness. You will manage employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, facilitate corrective actions, support termination decisions, and execute employee engagement and recognition initiatives. You will partner closely with leaders to strengthen workplace culture, mitigate employee relations risk, improve employee experience, and drive informed decision-making through reporting and analysis. Primary Duties And Essential Functions Employee Engagement & Culture Programs Employee Relations & Risk Mitigation Unemployment Insurance Administration Policy Interpretation & Compliance Reporting & Workforce Insights Ancillary Support Functions Leadership Partnership & Employee Support Minimum Qualifications And Competencies Education/Background: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Psychology, or similar field preferred 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience. High School Diploma or GED certificate required 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered to meet the qualifications of this role SHRM-CP, PHR certification required Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred Active/valid driver’s license required Other Requirements Experience and commitment to working with multiethnic, multicultural, low-income populations Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams) Excellent documentation skills Proven ability to follow up and meet deadlines Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling sensitive matters Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate to balance many responsibilities Benefits We recognize that our success is driven by great talent, and that's why we provide a comprehensive and competitive suite of benefits to serve you and your family.
