School Registered Nurse Contract

School Registered Nurse Contract offers a 36-week nursing opportunity in Easton, Maryland, with compensation up to $55 per hour. The role involves bus rides, in-school care, and documentation, ensuring safety and compliance. It includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ride on the bus with students from their home in Talbot County to school in Baltimore County, providing medical support as needed during transit.
• Support students requiring a nurse in school by providing comprehensive nursing care, monitoring, and emergency response if necessary.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement care plans tailored to each student's medical needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing activities, interventions, and student health records.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, licensing requirements, and school policies throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Maryland RN License or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Ability to ride the bus with students.
• Reliable transportation.
• Background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist students with special needs as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with school-aged children.
