Department Overview As a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Consumer & Retail group, you will be working with managing directors, executive directors, associates, and analysts on servicing and executing client transactions. Responsibilities Developing and leading a coverage effort across selected Specialty Finance sub-sectors Execution of M&A transactions – responsible for business and valuation analysis, financial modelling, investor outreach and coordination of negotiations between parties Preparing new business presentations and information memorandums for clients Development, training, and mentoring of new associates and analysts Qualifications Outstanding academic qualifications: MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required A minimum of 3–4 years of investment banking M&A experience Bulge bracket training program or Big 4 a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word SIE, Series 63, and 79 are required, or willingness to sit for the exams required Additional Information *Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job‑related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
