Maintenance Director- Full Time

Our senior living community is seeking a Maintenance Director to join our dedicated team. About the Opportunity We are looking for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents, families, and community. Responsibilities Oversee ongoing preventive maintenance of the facility building, equipment, and grounds. Troubleshoot maintenance problems as they arise. Ensure maintenance services are available for emergency needs outside of regular working hours. Coordinate with licensed vendors approved by administration when necessary. Assist residents with moving and minor repairs. Apply safety awareness and follow safety procedures, including infection control measures where applicable. Critical Success Factors Demonstrate self‑supervision and self‑motivation. Set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner. Maintain a positive, courteous and respectful attitude toward residents, families, staff, and visitors. Qualifications Prior experience in building maintenance. Prior experience managing a team. Knowledge of plumbing (design and mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.). Knowledge of HVAC (general principles, heat pump operation, refrigeration). Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, voltage, amperage). Knowledge of mechanics (engine design and operation). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
