Litigation Paralegal (Rochester)

Evans Fox LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping attorneys and clients navigate complex legal matters.

Our litigation practice handles a wide variety of cases, including commercial litigation, estate litigation, personal injury, family law, collections, landlord-tenant matters, and general civil litigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines
• Coordinate court filings and service of process
• Organize and summarize medical, financial, and business records
• Assist with discovery, document production, and trial preparation
• Schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Maintain accurate case management records and calendars

Qualifications

• Prior litigation paralegal experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
