Key Responsibilities
- Seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of high-volume plaintiff personal injury litigation experience and a proven trial background.
- This role offers the opportunity to manage complex cases from inception through trial while leading a dedicated legal support team.
- Manage a high-volume plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload.
- Handle all phases of litigation from case filing through trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal support staff.
- Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining accurate case management.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Significant courtroom and trial experience.
- Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Proven leadership and case management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
