Job Title: Nurse Supervisor – General Nursing
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Night | 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
Schedule: 3x11.5 hours, 34.5 hours/week

Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate
Local: $90–$94/hour
Traveler: $100–$102/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations, support patient-care standards, monitor employee performance, and assist with performance improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience.

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

• Current RN License.

• BLS certification.

• English proficiency: Read, Write, and Speak.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nursing supervision and performance improvement.

• Experience monitoring patient-care standards and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop programs designed to improve patient care and employee performance.

• Monitor patient-care and employee performance.

• Assess nursing units in collaboration with Nurse Managers.

• Communicate and assist with corrective actions when needed.

• Develop record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling.

• Function as an ADN/AOD within the Nursing Department.

• Monitor and support patient-care standards and nursing practices.

• Participate in patient-care planning and performance improvement initiatives.

• Implement corrective actions and follow up on performance concerns.

• Track and document medication errors and related counseling.

• Support employee performance improvement and supervisory activities.
