SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE. Responsibilities You will directly supervise a team of HR Specialists and HR Assistants who perform staffing, recruitment, and classification services that vary in scope, complexity, and occupational requirements. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will direct and personally execute a full range of staffing, recruitment, and classification advisory services, with specialized emphasis on the complex, highly technical missions of the serviced commands. You will conduct analysis and develop organizational design, position management, and succession planning based on the mission, current staff, and future staffing requirements of the activity/command being studied. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing comprehensive and strategic recruitment and placement services for hard-to-fill positions applying Federal, Department of War, Department of the Navy Human Resources (HR) concepts, principles, laws and regulations; advising on classification and position management issues; demonstrating the ability to independently and effectively prioritize workload among competing priorities; serving as a lead or mentor to junior or developmental staff; and developing data-driven or innovative solutions to resolve bottlenecks or address complex issues.
