Ohio University presents a unique ministry opportunity; with nearly 20,000 students, it is known as a top party school in a post-Christian region at the center of the appalachian region of Ohio. If you are looking to challenge yourself by doing ministry in "hard soil," our residency is an ideal fit.

A resident with H2O Church will participate in campus evangelism and leadership development while gaining valuable experience reaching the people of Athens County. Beyond the ministry, Athens is a beautiful town offering a wide variety of outdoor activities.
