As a Senior Payroll Manager, you will lead and overseepayroll and payroll tax operations for the U.S. and Canada, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately andtimely.You haveadvanced knowledge ofpayrollprocessesandtaxation, including cross-border and cross-jurisdiction scenarios, and effectivelyleverageinternal and external resources to determineappropriate taxtreatment for complex cases.

To thrive in this role, you will partner with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensureaccuratepayroll inputs, deductions, and tax treatment for compensation, pensions or retirement-related plans, and other employee benefit programs.

You will own theaccurateandtimelycompletion ofall payrollactivitiesincludingpayroll-related reporting and compliance obligations, tax filings, year-end reporting, payroll reconciliations, and other required internal and external reporting.

You will build and lead a highly effective team while managing the payroll impacts of organizational growth, workforce changes, and other business needs. You willestablishrepeatable, scalable processes and ensureappropriate staffingtomaintainservice quality, compliance, and operational continuity.

• You have deep experience leading payroll operations in large, complex, multi-entity organizationswith strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state,andlocal payrolltaxlaws,reporting obligations, and payrollbestpractices.

• Youhavedemonstratedexperience managing payroll systems, implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.

• You have a strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance, and audit practices.

• You are a strategic thinker who can scale operations whilemaintainingaccuracy and risk management.

• You have proven ability to manage payroll vendors and partner effectively across Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, Technology, and other key stakeholders.

• Youdemonstratestrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Youhave 10+ years of experience includingdemonstratedsuccess in senior leadership roles buildinginclusive, high-performing teams.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex payroll matters clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $164,539-$279,716

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
