Bring your leadership, facilities expertise, and commitment to service to a mission that makes a difference every day.ResponsibilitiesLead People & OperationsLead, coach, and develop maintenance team members.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and service.Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community partners.Prioritize maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.Manage Facilities & MaintenanceOversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.Ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of buildings, grounds, and related assets.Coordinate and perform maintenance activities involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, drywall, roofing, painting, generators, irrigation systems, and other facility infrastructure.Manage weather-related facility needs, including snow removal, storm response, and grounds maintenance.Drive Strategic ResultsDevelop and manage maintenance budgets and cost-control initiatives.Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contractor performance.Participate in facility construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.Help shape long-term facility planning and infrastructure investment strategies.Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, accreditation requirements, and regulatory expectations.QualificationsLeadership CompetenciesDemonstrated experience leading and developing teams.Strong relationship-building and communication skills.Emotional intelligence, professionalism, and sound judgment.A service-oriented leadership approach.Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.Technical QualificationsThree or more years experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or facilities operations.Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, and general building systems.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, safety procedures, and building codes.Experience managing contractors, vendors, and maintenance projects.Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background screenings.25 years of age or olderPreferredExperience leading facilities operations for a multi-building campus or similarly complex environment.Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
