Business Development Representative

Position Overview: TradeCorp is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our presence across Tampa Bay. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Tampa Bay area, as the position requires regular in-person client visits and field sales activity. When not meeting with clients, you will work from your home office. Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the skilled trades market Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction firms, and industrial clients Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations to potential and existing clients Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure client needs are met with qualified talent Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and account management Track activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools Stay informed on local market trends and competitor activity Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in staffing sales, B2B sales, or related field (staffing industry preferred) Strong knowledge or interest in skilled trades (construction, electrical, HVAC, manufacturing, etc.) Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Must be based in the Tampa Bay area and willing to travel locally for client meetings What We Offer: Competitive base salary ($50K–$60K) plus uncapped commission Flexible remote work environment Opportunity to build and grow a market with strong earning potential Supportive team and resources to help you succeed If you're a motivated sales professional looking to make an impact in the skilled trades staffing space, we want to hear from you.
