ABOUT THE ROLE The Sales Director is a full-time, hybrid position based in Miami, FL, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Sales Director will oversee day-to-day sales operations, manage the sales pipeline, establish sales targets, develop forecasting processes, and monitor key performance metrics. This role will lead, coach, and develop the sales team while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Sales Director will also drive business development by identifying new customer segments, developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and optimizing customer acquisition strategies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the sales team Establish sales goals, targets, and performance expectations Manage and optimize the sales pipeline Develop sales forecasts and monitor performance metrics Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals Identify new customer segments and revenue opportunities Build strategic partnerships and referral relationships Develop relationships with property owners, businesses, contractors, and industry professionals Grow the network of qualified roofing and solar professionals Develop strategies to increase customer and contractor engagement Improve lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition Collaborate with marketing, operations, product, and customer service teams Help develop and execute go-to-market strategies Identify opportunities to expand Roof Mechanics geographically and across new industries QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated experience in Sales and Business Development with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Strong knowledge of sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM systems, and performance analytics Proven experience recruiting, managing, mentoring, and retaining high-performing sales teams Strong customer relationship management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Experience in home services, roofing, solar, construction, real estate, property management, or facilities management is highly beneficial Experience developing partnerships with businesses, contractors, property owners, professional networks, or referral partners is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience WHY JOIN ROOF MECHANICS?
