AP/AR Clerk (Contract / Potential Contract-to-Hire) - Remote (Houston, TX-based team) - $27-$32/hour Looking for a remote accounting opportunity where you can gain exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? Join an established retail and e-commerce organization with a well-known heritage brand and support a collaborative accounting team while building experience across reconciliations, general accounting, and ERP systems. Who you are: 2+ years of accounting experience with AP and/or AR responsibilities. Experience performing bank reconciliations and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits. Proficiency with Excel; NetSuite, Shopify, and retail/e-commerce experience are strong pluses. What you’ll do: Support daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes while providing coverage for accounting team members as needed. Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other transactional accounting activities. Work within NetSuite and Shopify-related accounting processes and assist with special projects assigned by the accounting team. Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education. The expected range for this role is $27-$32 per hour.
