Sr. Financial Analyst

Sr. Financial Analyst, OperationsThe Sr. Financial Analyst, Operations will support any combination of financial and business information, analysis and modeling in support of the company's business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to the annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, monthly financial reporting, Key Performance Indicators, presentation preparation and business controls. The analyst will also work to development enhancements to existing processes to drive improved financial transparency and awareness. Analyst may also perform competitor and industry analysis and support special projects that are aligned with the company's business goals. This role is expected to work with limited supervision.This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Roswell, GA.What You'll DoAnalyze the monthly financial performance and providing commentary for the material variances to prior year and planEfficient data mining/querying and reporting.Perform advanced analysis activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core metrics and providing insight to the business.Orientation to continuous performance improvement coupled with root cause analysis.Cost improvement project reporting/controllingManufacturing variance analysisInventory controls, reporting, and analyticsFreight analyticsWhat You NeedManufacturing costing experience (e.g. knowledge of BOM and cost roll up)Self-starter with strong teamwork skills and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders across functional areasExcellent communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the audienceMeticulous attention to detailDemonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.An affinity to talking with numbers; inherent aptitude to quantify and support conclusions with data.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.Strong interpersonal skills, organizational and management skills.Ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.Relentless focus on accuracy and getting things done.
